Automotive Carpet Scrap.
o I work for a company that produces carpets for the interior of cars. I was interested to see if I could do my part to enrich your company along with our environment. Our carpets consist of nylon fibers, PET, poly ethylene, Latex, and EVA. The EVA is used as an insulator and sound deadener installed in the firewall of the vehicle. We produce around 7000 tons of scrap carpet each year. If you are interested in helping me find a way to keep this out of the landfill we could send you some samples of our product scrap and you could do some testing to see if you can point me in the right direction.
