UMICORE Precious Metals Refining operates one of the world's largest precious metals recycling facilities in Hoboken (Belgium). This business unit specialises in the collection and processing of precious metal-bearing material such as complex intermediate products from other non-ferrous industries (e.g. from Cu, Zn, Pb, Ni, PGM smelters & refiners) and end-of-life products (e.g. electronic scrap, catalysts and photographic residues). Precious metals (silver, gold, platinum, palladium, rhodium), special metals (indium, selenium, tellerium), secondary metals (antimony, tin, bismuth, arsenic) and base metals (copper, lead, nickel) are recovered using a unique proprietary technology.
